Priscila Alegría Núñez
also known as Pea Núñez (they/she/elle/ella)
Born and raised in Peru, Priscila immigrated to California at age 15. In 2017, they earned their Bachelors of Arts in Film from the University of California, Los Angeles in Tovaangar. Their body of work stems from indigeneity, queerness, and our relationship to the Land in the age of climate change. Their films have traveled to five continents through film festivals and broadcast television. In 2026, after nearly 10 years of professional visual storytelling practice with clients such as Blue Veil Films, The Nature Conservancy California, North East Trees, Familia Trans Queer Liberation Movement, AIDS Healthcare Foundation's FLUX among other organizations, collectives, and unions, Priscila is now pursuing the Erasmus Mundus STEDE Master Degree course with a world leading programme in the field of sustainable territorial development.
When not working or studying, Priscila enjoys stargazing and hiking. In 2023-2024, they journeyed through the Southern half of Abya Yala with a backpack and a camera learning the cosmovisions of their host territories.
